The Grouping field is most definitely still there, but it may not be visible by default. When you are importing a CD, select Grouping from the "Add Field" menu. You can choose to always show that field overtime you insert a CD. The same goes for any other views in your library.

I'm still using i-tunes 10.x as I found the new versions 11.x and now 12.x less user friendly and frankly don't offer what I want.

I let my daughter upgrade and each she has found the new iteration worse than the last, hence my lack of interest in so called 'upgrading'

What we both found annoying is that we could not regress an upgrade.

Its another case of big corporations making changes to suit them rather than any consumer thought.

On the plus side as a 10.x user I did not get the new U2 album :)

Thanks for mentioning this. A friend of mine emailed me with the same info this morning. Not seeing this feature was the only resaon I downgraded to 11.4. Otherwise, the upgrade seemed ok to me.

Isn't Groupings still available? If you have Column Browser elected then right click in the header were it says Name, Artist etc will show a drop down and check Groupings
