Tracklist and the extras all look very promising, but I'm not a big fan of this artwork...

Hey, maybe we'll get a chance to hear some of the new songs without them being compressed/limited to hell.

Yeah, I'd agree, especially since it isn't "DVD-sized"... but I hope it's not a variation on that, either, because that's one ugly composite photo.

Or maybe I'm just a design snob. :D

The complete track listing is available at the Rush site as well; it is INDEED impressive! Finally, a filmed version of the anthem "Working Man" from their 1st album! Other delicious morsels include Tom Sawyer, Spirit of Radio, 2112, Trees, Freewill, Closer to the Heart, By-Tor the Snow Dog, Limelight and many, many more (28 songs total)!

The stuff off of Vapor Trails sounded much better live when I saw them here at Polaris Ampitheatre than on the CD.

Alex and Geddy were on Rockline a few weeks ago and they mentioned that they added Closer to the Heart when playing in Brazil (it was dropped for most of the tour) because they had never played in that country before. They didn't play 2112 in its entirety in the show I saw (they did on the previous tour) but maybe they did in Rio.

I tried to call the program to ask the guys what they think of SACD & DVD-Audio but I couldn't get thru.

As I recall at the show I saw, only a small part of Working Man played as part of a medley of songs in the encore that also included parts of Cygnus X-1.

I saw Yes on their Masterworks tour a few years ago when they pulled all the extra long overindulgent stuff out and toured it for the first time in years. I wish Rush would do the same or go deeper into their catalog. How many live renditions of Closer to the Heart have there been? I haven't bought the new "Greatest Hits" because there's nothing new there and I don't think anyone in this forum has commented on the sound quality.

I am really excited to get my hands on this DVD! I saw Rush on the Test for Echo tour, and on the Vapor Trails tour. Being a Rush fan is not a guilty pleasure!
