My guess is that the breaks are in anticipation of the show turning up on a traditional broadcast venue at some point down the road; it’s where they’ll insert the commercials.

My favorite belly - laugh moment so far:
Letterman: What is your son's name?
    McDonald: I wanna say, Dillan.

Can't believe people didn't like the Spade episode. I've watched them all and it was by far the funniest one to me (and I hate David Spade).

it was two comedians trying to one up each other plus actual stories that are interesting.

    I agree.

This episode felt much more like radio or a podcast - and I like that.

Watching the show now. I agree that Norm needs to tighten the show up a bit. He gets some good questions but often gets distracted and doesn't follow up when it gets interesting. I watched the Lorne one and we get a couple lesser known tidbits about SNL which is cool.

I think it’s more an homage to the type of show he wants to put on, a la the Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder (something he has referenced on this show, as well as the old YouTube version). Just one of those phrases that kind of slots in nicely at the end of an anecdote or a funny joke. It’s part of the bit.

I’m pretty sure Netflix isn’t footing the bill for this production just to let it go to a network down the line. Not the way they roll.

So much of Norm’s material is like a neutron bomb: he leaves everything standing, but when you realize what he’s said it’s pure devastation. I’ve heard several comedians say that no one can get an audience more riled up than Norm, and I’m sure he’s loving every minute of it!

I watched 7 episodes yesterday. Loved it. The Jane Fonda episode was terrific.

I never thought I would say "Jane Fonda" and "terrific" in the same sentence . ;)

Norm lost the lucrative Mangrate sponsor because of lack of proper repect for a fine product:

Too bad. For the new upgraded version it would have been great to do this,

This show reminds me of the "Merv Griffin" episode of Seinfeld.

    I like it a lot!

I believed the official name for Satan is "the great accuser." Turns out, we're all Satan. What did we expect?

TBS really needs to give a reason for this, if true, especially after his appearance was canceled on that late show with Fallon (I can't bring myself to call it The Tonight Show anymore).

Norm MacDonald Has a Show is good.

But Jon Benjamin Has a Van was better!

Adam Carolla said on his podcast that Norm was supposed to do a one on one interview on the podcast but he flaked out and wouldn't be showing up.

So maybe Conan/TBS didn't cancel Norm and it was Norm backing out of his appearance. Hoping he resurfaces sometime soon.

Yeah, Norm chose Paul Newman as his charity when he went on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire just so that he might get to meet Paul Newman. Then, after he donated the money and was offered to go meet Paul Newman, he didn't go.

    That's Norm!
