Minimally, a laptop /computer with broadband is suffice to view this material.

 

For tv recordings in the 1970's and 1980's, the NRK quality is superb.
That was a surreal interview with Josephine Baker (who just happened to be passing by) conducted by a grinning man and his dog, in an almost empty warehouse with a table and a couple of chairs in the middle.
The sound quality from her first song 'Sourir a la vie' was exceptional, even better than when she was handed a microphone for the later songs..

I had that Pink Floyd-programme in a VERY low-quality copycopy-version in the early 90's. Nice to see it finally properly! Thanks for the link!

 

The Bruce is just the MTV promo for the Tunnel tour. Not enough performance footage.

 

The show with a-ha from 1984 is them miming to an earlier version of Take On Me, which is a rare sight. (Take On Me wasn't a worldwide hit until it was re-recorded and re-released a year later.)

Thanks so much for mentioning this. The 22-10-87 TopPop show has an interesting video for the number one song that week in Norway, Bruce Springsteen's
Brilliant Disguise. Instead of using the actual Brilliant Disguise music video (with just Bruce solo), they used the 1987 Born to Run music video with
clips of the 1985 Born in the U.S.A. stadium tour. It's pretty unique to see Bruce doing his baseball slide/kiss to Clarence during Thunder Road, raising his
fist to Born in the U.S.A., holding the Esquire guitar in the air, and more while the recording of Brilliant Disguise is played. It's a pretty unique segment. I
guess the TopPop program didn't have the Brilliant Disguise music video to air at the time, and made do with what they could. This clip is at around the

I'm watching the George Harrison episode.

I noticed the version of When We Was Fab is the original, with the Foley work intact. The Foley work was removed on the 2004 DVD (kinda like the Foley work on Genesis' video for Land of Confusion).

Anyone else noticed this?
