I may pass on the 1978 show, but if Little Dots is 1972 live material, I would desperately buy it. Uncle Meat, of course, is something I've been waiting for years (I hope not to be let down by the tracklist).

It's my understanding that "Little Dots" is a Petite Wazoo show.

There were two shows that day (September 29 1978). I think only the early show is in circulation?

This is great news. I'm almost more excited about this than the Uncle Meat deal.

Very cool. We should have tracklists soon if they are as quick as the last two from pre-announcement to in our hands. Very reasonably priced too.

But, "Meat Light"? Why oh why use that title?

Well..... to shine a 'LIGHT' on the "Uncle Meat" album........
    .....maybe....
So, are we SURE the entire album fits onto one CD?
I don't want to think about it taking up 2, then only ONE CD of bonus goodies.....

We're certainly seeing a lot of Zappa releases this year. I, for one, care lots for this. I hope more older zft stuff gets this new distribution too, it was great to be able to get the last two Road Tapes in my local HMV and I've got quite a backlog to pick up if they appear.

Probably another tour compilation like "Imaginary Diseases", as I imagine that a full show would be a "Road Tapes" release.

Correct, and the fact that it is not a "Road Tapes" release (as far as we know), it makes me wonder if it is a professional recording.

There is no such thing as a "pass" when Vinnie is on drums.

The only good thing to come from the whole Feuding Zappas mess is that we're getting a lot of material released pretty quickly.

Yeah. I think the last time new releases came this fast 'n' bulbous was in the early '90s.

I am. Done it more than once.

I think ZFT – and the rest of the civilized world – have heard the feedback on the Penalty Tracks.

Well, I was kind of hoping for a DVD of the movie to go along with it. That would have made the most sense, and no need for the so-called penalty tracks.

I'm hoping for the album on the first disc, bonus tracks on the second and dvd on the third.
