Thanks - do you know of a trick to get the deal? All of the 99 cent discs that I put in my cart came up as $2.38. I thought maybe it would adjust it at checkout, but it didn't.

 

I am having the same issue

 

I e-mailed them and the 99 cent sale ended at Midnight last night. Bummer. How is this a Cyber Monday sale if it ended Sunday?

 

I ordered about 30 99 cent cds with the latest Fabs album which was 20, to qualify for free ship. No problems placing the order...

 

Did you do this Today? I wonder why some people are getting the deal and others are not...

 

Yeah, the CDs were $0.99 when this thread was first posted. By this morning, they are no longer $0.99.

And last night it said free shipping with $25 order, but even this morning the site is not honoring that lower value (normally $50).

 

That's pretty shoddy, it's clearly deceptive if they're still listing the items at 99c after the sale is over (and, yes, how is it a Monday sale if it ended on Sunday?).

 

In response to my e-mail, Oldies has begun re-listing most of the CD's at 99 cents again.

Hmm. The CDs that were listed as 99c but showed as 2.38 in my cart are now showing as 99c in my cart.....but most of the CDs that were showing as 99c in the listings are now showing as 2.38! The banner on the main page says "most orders" over $25 ship free, but my cart shows that $50 is needed for free shipping.

Yeah, I ordered about 35 items and couldn't get the 'free' shipping. One banner showed free shipping for $25 and another flashing banner showed free shipping for $50. Anyway, I paid $7.98 shipping. (guess I should have doubled up on several to get to $50 for the free shipping)

 

I got them this morning around 10am eastern.

 

I got about 14 things: the Johnny Cash twofers, Mose Allison, Ella's S/T 1969 Reprise album, "But You've Never Heard Gershwin with Bongos" (indeed, I haven't), Richard Evans' "Dealing with Hard Times". I had stacked up $50 of stuff, but it was saying "you need to add another $8 of items for free shipping", so forget that; their free shipping criteria seem a bit arbitrary.

 

I bought $50 in bargain $0.99 CDs yesterday, after they dropped the prices back to $0.99. Still needed $50 to get free shipping, so I bought doubles of some.

Today, I noticed that they changed the terms, so now it's limit one per person for all the bargain CDs.

 

I picked up 28 CD's yesterday. Lots of jazz albums originally released on the Atlantic label.

 

Got free shipping this time for buying 22-CDs (really 23, since there's a double CD included).
