I don't think there's any I've played so much I eventually go off them.

Something that should sound tired and out of date is the Bee Gees' Stayin' Alive. That sounds fresh to me. I still love it when I hear it.

All of Olivia's albums between 1971-1985 are still great to me too. And I must have played those things thousands of times.

McCartney - "Band On The Run" - I've heard it a zillion times, but it always seems fresh, probably because of its different sections.

I gave up listening to music on the radio about 30 years ago, so anything I hear that is "overplayed" is done so by my own choosing. I read a suggestion in a book on existential philosophy that one should remind one's self of her/his own mortality every morning, as a motivation to "seize the day" (since the days available for seizing are limited in number). I took up the suggestion, and used Paul McCartney's "The End of the End" as my daily reminder, listening to it virtually every work day (on my walk from the parking garage to work) for about two years. Didn't get tired of it then, not tired of it now.

I'm not sure if "Strawberry Fields Forever" would be considered an over-played song, but if it is, I never get sick of it!

I still gets goosebumps every time that opening guitar of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" comes on the radio! The energy and enthusiasm of that song has seldom been matched by anyone.

I never tire of the sloppy guitar solos in "You Really Got Me" and "All Day And All Of The Night".

Some of those songs just keep getting better with time...for example Rush's "Freewill" sounds better every time I hear it!
