"I'm Gon Make U Sick O'Me" - The single from the forthcoming new Parliament album has been released on all the major streaming sites now.

George Clinton is doing a Reddit AMA today at 2pm Eastern to promote it.

The actual album doesn't have a release date but it will come out very soon as well as a music video.

The video for the single has finally been released.

 

Not their best work by any stretch, but enjoyable.

 

Medicaid Fraud Dogg, the first new album by Parliament in 38 years, will be released digitally on May 22. No word on a physical release. Shake The Gate was released on cd about three months after the digital.

Haven't heard it yet but it's definitely my favorite album title of the year so far.

 

Exciting news! I've been waiting for this album for awhile.There is a Youtube video of George previewing several of the tracks at a radio station.One of the tracks,"Oil Jones",sounds amazing! A new P-funk classic,in my opinion

 

Not terrible, but Parliament in name only, unfortunately. None of the magic of the classics (not that anyone could reasonably expect any different, 40 years later).

 

Not impressed after the 1st listen, unfortunately.
However I did not expect new Mothership Connection - it's 2018 not 1976.

Agreed. It's a very weak album.

Love It! Based on a few comments here, and the fact that not many Music Artists put out quality Music when past their 70s, I was not hopeful, but looking forward to hear if the rest of the album has similar type of Music.
Keeping the FUNK Alive!
George Clinton is a Legend, who certainly by now can just retire and relax the rest of his life, and I would be grateful for all of the P-FUNK Music he has already provided to us.

 

Am going to see George and friends this very evening. Let’s see how much of the album makes the setlist...

Roundhouse in London - think it’s the last date of the UK tour.

Very disappointing, I’m sad to say.

 

its okay. wanted 2 like it more.

 

Enjoying it as I did Shake the gate.

Annoying aspect of no physical release - particularly with a "group" involving at least 50 musicians, singers, writers, producers - is no credits

(Not that there were accurate credits on many of their classics either)
