Purchased an LP the other day for £32. Seller graded vinyl as EX, which I would say is inbetween the realms of NM & VG+ as far as discogs grading goes.

Trouble is the vinyl is no more than G+ due to a bit of surface noise in quiet section and some loud clicks here and there. One track has 4 loud clicks one after another that has been caused by a small scratch.

Seller has been responsive and has offered a partial refund. I would be willing to accept this and keep this copy until a better one arrives. I have no idea what a fair refund would be.

    Any advice guys please?

    TIA

if the grading is that far off, i don't think 50% is unreasonable.

Sounds more like VG to me.

I think 50% is reasonable, too.

If the grading is REALLY far off, the seller should also pay for return shipping.
