    Thanks for the compliment!

And yes! I love "Check My Machine" too. A mesmerising, yet funky track. I could probably listen to that every day for 10 years and not tire of it. "Secret Friend" is gorgeous as well...

With the last batch bullmoose stated off the bat they wouldn't ship them and with these they never said that. Also bullmoose is now whipping the last batch. I buy from bullmoose a lot and they seem to he on the ball about updates so I ordered from them.

I would go bullmoose. They usually honor things they post. They posted the Beatles xmas box and I preordered 2. Then a week later they posted that it was one per customer built they honored mine as I was locked in.

I like "Blue Sway" a lot as well. That track sounds like summer holidays, the big oceans and sitting in a hammock and drinking a cold drink while relaxing at the beach.

I love "Blue Sway," but moreso the original, not the 1984 version (though that is interesting and enjoyable, too).

Speaking of 1984 versions, I'd love a deluxe Cold Cuts set with all the various album versions Paul prepared through the years. The tracklist didn't change drastically, but he made multiple full album mixes of the songs through the years, the most recent seeming to be around 1986. We got the 1986 "A Love for You" mix on the deluxe Ram. My personal favorite mix is the 1980 mix, but I'd love an earlier mix, too. Is anyone else a fan of Cold Cuts like I am?

  10. Almost always get the goodies.... I waited almost two months for my colored vinyl order of the first batch even after I pre ordered and paid within an hour of the original announcement. Eventually my order was cancelled and then I finally got a refund.....

Without the string section it sounds more like sound on the album "McCartney".
With the string section the sound remind me more of Wham.

Haven't listened to "Cold Cuts" yet but I'll do now.

Full track listing---and only about half of the songs have been officially released. They still need to get around to releasing the others.:

How much of the archive program has been about "lets give the fans something nice"? Granted, we can always complain about not getting enough bonus tracks and the videos could usually look better. But, do you guys think that notion factors in at all?

If so, then I'll hold out hope for the rest of the 70's albums.

At least we got two different versions of Hey Diddle (although not the *final* version with some extra percussion).

Night Out is one that changed drastically from the original RRS outtake to the later Cold Cuts version. And then Tragedy too, but I don't know when that was overdubbed.

As a rapidly ageing 40-something whose life seems to be flying by ‘in the blink of an eye’, my tongue was firmly in my cheek...

However, in the grand scheme of Macca’s solo career, FP is very much a latter-day work, one of which was accompanied by no end of extras and b-sides at the time. It’d be a crying shame if it took precedence over the 70s remnants just by virtue of it being favourably received by critics at the time of release.

Baq, if I can say this without offense, you gotta beautiful pair of legs there, though your drink looks a tad on the sweet side for my tastes. ;)

That was my version as well, but on a CD, not vinyl.

Not the best sound quality but I played the heck out of it.

Now comes the plot twist: I'm not the person on the picture.
It was just the one that looked the most "tropical" to me.

This has turned in to Blue Sway Way. And this thread has lost it's way...
