Amy Acker certainly enlivens the show and makes it more interesting - cute too...

I liked the premiere. A few new twists this year.

Great start to the season. I miss Carter, but I like how they've shaken things up. It was funny seeing Root pretty much being the voice of reason.

So, it looks like that blonde woman will be the heinous character for at least the first few episodes. Interesting twists, but a bit awkward in the transitions.

Yeah, and she's packing an accent so that makes her even more dangerous. How long will that government official last reckon?

Terrific first episode of the season, with an awesome ending. Looking forward to more.

Best line of the night: Fusco>"Well now he's unaffiliated."

When I saw Frederick Weller (co-lead of In Plain Sight) in the opening scene, I thought we were going to see more of him than we did...

Whoever casts this show knows what they're doing. Although I do miss Paige Turco. I wish she would show up now and again.

Although a major show-fan, found first episode below par.

    She's got another show.

Plus, she and her family moved to LA about a year ago, so working on PoI isn't as convenient for her.

She was on another show last season as well and we saw her. We may still see her. I have hope.

This show just keeps getting better. Another great episode last night.

WTH are they going to do with that rocket launcher?

They'll find something! Was an entertaining episode. I'm happy that Monique Gabriela Curnen has joined the show. I really like her.

I enjoy this show. But I would be hard pressed to say it's getting better. It's getting sillier lately. John closes out TWO major murder cases in one day and his boss is still micro-managing him when he's not around later that afternoon? For that matter, John shooting the perp in the kneecap and not having to spend the who day filling out paperwork?

Look, it's fantasy. But it's getting sillier.

Loved that there was actually a little humor in this episode. And Fusco may get lucky! I'm betting that John's captain will wind up either being threatened, or swapping spit with John.

Did they lose the make up artist for the show or something?

    I agree, I don't think it's getting better.
It's taken a step back IMO, I'm losing interest already and we're only a few episodes into the new season

It's weird when you see a big-name star and there's all kinds of pock-marks, blemishes, and flaws visible in their faces. Sometimes it's lighting, sometimes it's bad mastering, sometimes it's makeup, sometimes the star just didn't get enough sleep. I had a conversation with a fairly big-time DP and I told him his show looked great, but one of the main characters (a woman in her 60s) just looked like hell. He told me the technical people insisted they couldn't fix her, and I was befuddled, because this is about a 45-second fix in the control room. I typically will try to fix even no-name people's faces if they have a facial blemish that's really distracting... unless they're supposed to look haggard and bad.

    Right?
But as long as wardrobe keeps supplying tank tops I'm happy.
