Hey, from what I heard The Lego Movie was terrific, so why couldn't this be just as good?

This reminds me that I wrote an awful short story in college about a Pez collector who, when faced between either keeping his collection or his relationship, proposes to his girlfriend with a Pez dispenser.

I'm waiting for "Depend Undergarments: The Movie". Starring Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Sylvester Stallone.

 

The licensing issues for this movie seem like they would be a nightmare, you've got every children's character from Mickey Mouse to Darth Vader to Hello Kitty to Minions. (And yes, I just went to the Pez website and verified the Minions dispenser. I need a life I guess. )

 

worse yet i bought a minion pez dispenser for my daughter!

 

It'd be really cool if it said something in that weird pigeon Spanish dialect they use when it dispenses a candy.

 

Didn't Hollywood reach bottom sometime in the early 80s around the time of Caddyshack 2 and Doctor Detroit?

 

I'll bet your short story is probably way better than the script a half dozen hacks will come up with for the Pez movie

No story...all eye candy & noise. Just like almost every film that Hollywood produces. Another MI with Tom Cruise?!?

 

The Lego Movie was silly fun. I probably will never bother to sit thru it again but my sons loved it and it was a relatively painless for me... which is all you can ask for when you're watching a "kids' movie"

 

It starts out pretty awesome, but the film gets bad pretty quickly. You can't wait to get the heck out of the theatre by the time it's done!
