Phono pre poll.

I just acquired a Fluance 85. Looking for a reasonably priced pre. This is what I came up with.
Going into system with following equipment.
Parasound P/HP Preamp
Parasound HCA1500a Amp
Polk Audio LSiM703 Speakers

 

I didn't feel qualified to cast a vote, but if Parasound, get the USB version- for the mono button and rumble filter button (just in case- I have one album that causes rumble at higher volume and the button saves the day).

 

I don't have a pick as I haven't used any of those, but am curious about what were the selection criteria that resulted in that group?
