Besides me, are any of you PF fans aware that Storm used different takes of his photos for each country's release?

    Those that are affected:

Dark Side Of The Moon (different stickers and posters for US & UK)
Wish You Were Here (different takes for the covers, different diver takes for each country's postcards, inner sleeves, etc)
Animals (early 1994 CDs had alternate images in the booklets)
A Momentary Lapse Of Reason (in the UK the guy on the bed is breaking a stick, in the US he's looking at a mirror)
The Division Bell (the most known example.....there are so many different covers I lost count)

    Yes.

And they seem to like "updating" cover art for reissues (example: the 1992 CD reissue of Dark Side). For the most recent series, they seem to have reverted largely to the original covers (a good idea).

A Nice Pair also had cover variations. The one I bought in the U.S. in the early 80's had the breasts and the dentist ad, and the semi-nude Syd photo from the Madcap session.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn - with or without the "Pink Floyd" on the front
More - The words on the front cover are different
Meddle - Different tinting to the cover photo and the US has the title on the front
Obscured By Clouds - the UK and US versions have very different back covers

One of the covers has been retouched, and Gilmour was given fake sideburns. My Mom used to be a professional retoucher, so I noticed this right away. The inner sleeves of the Canada / US LPs have some different photos from the UK LP. I have CDN, USA, and UK copies of the LP.

Pics? All the photos of the original vinyl show sideburns, albeit closely shaved ones. Some have higher contrast than others, resulting in some looking darker than others, but - cloned in fake ones? Skeptical.

I know that I've had trouble finding an Animals poster that is like the album cover seen in my avatar. The album has the wide-angle shot of the power station and the surrounding buildings. Virtually every poster I find either crops out the right side of the image or the vintage posters out there with the wide angle lack the resolution. Any ideas about where to look for what I'm talking about? I thought about buying the vinyl, but as it has not been recently reissued there aren't many pristine copies floating around for a reasonable price.

More - Original UK pressing has a greenish tint to the back cover
Atom Heart Mother - Some pressings have the band and title on the cover
Wish You Were Here - I once found a Japan pressing that had (IIRC) the band and title printed on the cover. I've never seen this cover other than that one time.

There's Gigi, there's a plain white cover and there's one without cover altogether (in Australia). Also the inside gatefold photo of Roger's wife got replaced somewhere along the line.

Don't forget that WYWH came with blue and black cellophane covers depending on the country of release.
