Places to buy blank cassette tapes?

Only Maxell available today is UR or Communicator Type 1. No other formulas. Sorry, discontinued.

 

I have not tried these myself so can't vouch for them but there is a company, National Audio Company, still selling new tapes retail.... Linked here

 

TDK have positively stopped making blank cassettes. Any offers you see on amazon, ebay etc. are either old stock or second hand. The prices are skyrocketing.

 

Mine was an old post but I do know National Audio are producing decent tape.

 

How much would a box of 10 new (unopened) Maxell XLII C-90s go for?

 

In May 2016 I bought this 10 pack for 17.50 via Amazon.

I haven't tried them yet.

I notice they're selling on eBay for over 30.00. And Amazon is listing them now at 27.95, over 10 dollars more than I paid for them for in 2016.

The last good Maxell tape I was able to buy a case of was the Maxell "MS-90 Studio Tape (XLII Formulation Position High)" Good tape (imo)
Don't know if it is available anymore though.
