Do you own 'The Monkees' album?
How many copies of the album do you have now?

How many copies of the album have you owned over the years:
    reel to reel tapes,
    cartridges
    cassettes
    records,
    cds,
    digital downloads, ...?

'All officially recorded and released music by The Monkees means:
all singles (both A-sides and B-sides), bonus tracks, outtakes,
    alternative takes, rarities, oddities, remixes, ...;
all studio albums, all live albums, remix albums, etc.

'All core music' includes: all essential (important, best) studio albums
and a few essential (important, best) live albums.

I have all their albums through Head, and few of the old Colgems singles (A Little Bit Me, and Pleasant Valley Sunday). I used to have the Tear Drop City single,, and The Porpoise Song single, but they are long gone. After that I lost interest.

My favorite is Headquarters (mono preferred).

I miss D.W. Washburn (what album was that on?).

Sadly, I don't have much patience for Davy Jones ballads anymore, they seem to me to be very "dated".

If I was a pubescent teenager in 1968 and female, I would most certainly have one or two of their albums. I would have been more into The Stones or Donovan if I was a kid in 1968.

I have all the studio albums, except Changes and Pool It*.
I have the original CD box set.
    ALL deluxe editions.

*Many moons ago, I had "Pool It" on vinyl and used it to hide my cash from potential burglars. :tiphat:

And to think, if you had an original Colgems pressing of "Changes", you'd have to hide it FROM potential burglars.

I've got the first four albums Aussie RCA mono, 2 Rhino boxes and that double greatest hits with the purplish cover ... and the Rhino Head with the bonus tracks.

I have the first two on LP and a greatest hits 2 CD set. That's plenty for me.

I had a Monkees album when I was a teenager but never replaced it. I see them as more of a singles type group. I'm a Believer and Daydream Believer are nice enough songs.

I was a late bloomer, but I was able to get everything Rhino and Arista put out on cd, except for the Headquarters Sessions box set and the By Request collection. I also have a vinyl copy of every original Monkees album up to POOL IT (either an original Colgems pressing or Rhino pressing/reissue). To show you I'm crazy, I even tracked down some mono Monkees albums .. haha
