The Who's second album gets the WL treatment.

We'll start by eliminating two tracks this round.

    Discussion Question:
How big is your Who collection?

I guess I have a medium size Who collection.

    Sell Out
    Tommy
    Meaty Beaty
    Leeds
    Who's Next
    Odds & Sods
    Quadrophenia
    It's Hard
    The Who Collection
    Who Hits 50

I don't currently have a copy of Quick One, but I wore out a copy growing up and voted from memory.

    I need you and Cobwebs...

My collection is big, second only to the Beatles.

  6. Votes just for Heat Wave. This cover just doesn’t work for me / fit on the album. Love everything else.

Excellent choice for a weakest link thread.

    Heat Wave
    See My Way

DQ: Pretty large. They were the first rock group I really got into. Have all of their U.S.-released LPs through Who Are You, plus the Who's Missing, Two's Missing, and Hooligans LPs; a 1995 CD of Live at Leeds, and the Maximum R&B box.

Thats the version of this I have. The vinyl is pretty thin but it did the job for me back in the day. I had better equipment back then than I do now. (I probably don’t have a profile filled out so don’t mind me ).

Heatwave - prefer the '65 version
    See My Way

I have a nearly complete CD collection, lacking some redundant greatest hits and singles collections. Plus the nearly definitive HD versions of the deluxe Live At Leeds and Who's Next.

I'm only here for a one round - Cobwebs and Strange.
There's no weak link on this album except maybe this one.

The absolute masters of covering Eddie Cochran didn't have the same success when covering "girl groups". And as a composer Keith Moon was a great drummer.

I have a fairly complete collection of the "core" Who catalog. I may even own one or two greatest hits collections. :) My first copy of "A Quick One" (a used vinyl two-fer with water damage on the cover that I think was $1 or $2) is sadly no longer with us.
