Excuse me, do you dig Cyndi Lauper: her studio/live music, stage presence, ..., etc.?

    P.S.
It will be interesting to compare the results of this poll with two similar polls featuring Madonna and Kylie Minogue, respectively.

I like her. Had She's So Unusual back in the day, when I was about 9 or 10. Haven't bought another record of hers, but I respect her. I've enjoyed a few things I've heard along the way.

I like her and I'm glad she is getting a shot at Broadway. She started out strong but her career sort of fizzled. I haven't seen the play Kinky Boots but I hope it is a hit for her sake.

I plan to buy MOFI "She's So Unusual" - my first Cyndi Lauper in my collection - so I guess I like her.

I've always had a soft spot for "Time After Time."

  6. I like her very much.

She´s ok. I think She Bop is great, but that´s it

  8. I dislike her a little. I find her kind of annoying, but I don't care enough to full-on dislike her. File under "meh".

Actually I have just discovered her first album and think it is really and surprisingly great. "True Colors" on the other hand is too much 80's production for me. Don't feel the need to dig deeper but her debut is lovely

Always thought she was the talented one and Madonna would fade into obscurity. Which is why I never got hired as an A&R person, I guess.

Her art is singing, and she does that in spades. Her singing voice is among the best as far as I'm concerned, but I'm not a fan of her speaking voice.

Have a listen to her True Colors remake from The Body Acoustic. Different arrangement and different production. I like both versions, but I think I like the newer one better. The upright bass is quite riveting.

    Don't like her.

I remember back in the 80s her music got played in clubs quite a bit. The women all liked her and would dance to Girls.... and She Bop. Most of the guys were like - naah.

And before you ask - I don;t have any of her albums in my collection.

Gotta love She's So Unusual! I haven't heard any of the other albums in a couple of decades though.

I really like her. She did a killer cover of Lennon's Working Class Hero at a Lennon tribute show.

If I did a Desert Island songs from the 80's mix, Goonies R Good Enough would definitely be included.

I like her. The Time After Time video is classic. So 80s.

I said "she's okay". I have "She's So Unusual" but that's it - nothing else of hers did much for me...

Dislike her a little, as a singer. As an actor though she's more tolerable.

    She's ok.

Not up to date on anything she's done recently.
