    I'm sure there was one on another recently thread. Where's Gary Moore by the way? Like Rory Gallagher, he is Irish, but he's from Northern Ireland so he's also British.

    Ireland is not the UK, they kicked the British out in 1922 and don't want them back. Otherwise you could have added the Edge as well.

    Rory is not British. He was born and raised in The Republic of Ireland, therefore is Irish and does not qualify to be included in a poll of favourite British Guitarist's. That is a simple fact and there is no debate.

    Like most of them but voted for Jimmy Page. Others near the top for me are Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, George Harrison, Steve Howe, and Keith Richards. I also would add Alvin Lee, who is not on the list.
