Killer! ATCs are excellent speakers! And that model is motorcitydave approved! We (the Las Vegas Audio Club) had the presentation by the US dist. of ATC back in December 2013 in the Palms hotel and casino recording studio! However, we listened to the smaller SCM 40, and those were awesome! So, I can only imagine how yours are...

Nice! What are the specs on those? Are they hard to drive?

I am driving them with the Pioneer SX-1280 which has a lot of power but I don't think I ever really have to push the amp. They have a lot of nice bass.

185 watts per channel--whew! Are you using the phono section on the amp?

Updated version of mine : I added a at-150mlx audio technica cartridge ( this is replacing the at440mla ) loving every bit of it!
Also, had to change the corroded rca connectors on my van den hul d-102mkIII interconnects with new wbt style locking connectors.

I just happened to get around to cleaning my copy of Sigur Ros "Hvarf" I have that is on translucent green vinyl. It looked so mesmerizing, I had to take a picture before spinning it. Listening to it as I post this! Its a Bunnahabhain 18 year kinda night...pouring a glass and taking one for the team [IMG]

That EAR amp looks amazing. I'm going to have to read up on that.

I see you placed your woofer between your main speakers, nice set up.

that's probably one of the most impressive systems seen here, but aren't the ATCs meant to be raised off the floor? even if just by a few inches

    Impressive setup.

I see that large plastic jug in the lower left corner of the bottom pic. That's a great idea...you don't need to leave the room when nature calls. ;)

It's ok...you will thank me later! What are you going to get? I might pick up a bottle of Macallan 12 or 18 from Bev Mo...just to have a choice in the matter.

Perfect observation! I use distilled water only ;) It's for the Audio Desk Vinyl cleaner to top it off...mixture solution/water.
