I have my own room with a door that locks with a key. Its my little piece of sanity away from work and the kids but I don't spend hours on end in there. Everyone is welcome; wife, boys, cats and dog and they whoop it up a bit. But they mostly let me be when I go for a music break.

46? You look like a kid in your avatar and you're a year older than I am! :)

Is your Cinemag SUT on the 3rd shelf? What is the little black box on the 2nd shelf? God what a beautiful system!

Ya, young looks from my mother. When some find out how old I am they are floored.

People tell me all the time I look really young. It gets less and less each year though, so I may be losing to father time. :)

Thank you so much for the kind words.
The Auditorium 23 Standard SUT is on the (third) lowest shelf, the black box on the second (middle) shelf is the Rega RP6 speed (33/45) controller.

Nice and clean, beautiful set up. I always liked the looks of the Bel Canto gear.

This is my humble system. My first turn at stereo system.

I also managed to take this picture with my iPhone 6, playing Revolver on the turntable for the very first time. A proud moment for me :)

That looks nice! Have you tried moving the speakers further apart?

Thanks! I haven't, my apartment is so small so space is limited. Looking at a new apartment tomorrow though :) How far apart should they be? Is there a basic rule I could apply?

The manual should state an optimum distance. I found this article very useful when I was getting started last year: http://www.barrydiamentaudio.com/monitoring.htm

    Beautifu!

As you can see from my pics I am a big fan of white. In fact, I have the same table, in white, on the opposing wall from my VPI. But you have the upgraded platter. Mine has the original metal platter. That table is an outstanding for the price! The Ortofon red is so good. I bet you enjoy this set up for years!

Let me see if I have a pic of mine.

Ignore the lens cap in the middle. Looks like I have some rather large 45's.

I put a cork mat on mine. $15.00 improvement. I don't know if you are using the mat it came with, maybe that nice platter comes with a better mat, but if not get a better one....there are many to choose from. A cheap upgrade you will hear. Just make sure it is the same thickness or very close....you don't want to mess up your VTA. I don't remember if it is adjustable on this table.

Thanks. Bought mine in December of 2012. I love it.

Going to be moving on from the emotiva gear soon. It was a stopgap and now I am ready to spend a little more!
