When I was stationed in Greece we rented a house with a huge living room. The ceiling was easily 10 ft tall; didn't have that beautiful art work though. Man, I could really crank the tunes in that room.
Moved in with the boyfriend a few weeks ago. Finally got one (of two) vinyl shelves back up and in order. - And got the system set up! This vintage side table was originally meant to go into our antiques booth. But it ended up working great for the record player/receiver! The second speaker is on the other side of the vinyl shelf. Might not be a perfect setup but I'm happy with it!
Love it! Thanks for sharing!!! That particular Audio Technica cartridge is a familiar model. My brother had one and I think so did everybody in the late 70s / early 80s. That cart was ubiquitous. I'm using a coffee table as a stereo stand in the living room.
- I think you're being serious? You can never tell with all the snark on the web today! If so, it's a vintage Drexel Declaration. I could have sold this baby for $80-125! But it just worked so well with my setup!
