Fantastic pics Lontano, I still need to listen to that LP12 now that you got it hooked up to the main system.

 

Thanks! It's a good question and one I need to spend more time working on. I did remove it the other week to light a fire but not sure I noticed a big difference. In a way, when my hi-fi dealer was here he reckoned it might be helping the sound as the fireplace has the potential to create a bit of a hole in the stereo image. Will try soon, maybe when MilesSmiles comes over for a listen so he can give me an opinion.

No. Miles has different speakers for one thing.

 

No we are not one and the same. We are close friends. Both used to live in Sydney for work. Now we live near each other in the UK. We do both have the same CD player - he copied me!

 

And you both have equally excellent taste in CD players I might add!

 

No I'm still me although sometimes I hear all these other voices in my head.

 

Have you got the Keel? the top plate looks like the new one ?

I started off owning an Aro Keel and nothing else!! - no TT whatsoever. So I traded in the keel for this LP12 as I could not afford to go the whole hog in one go. I will eventually get the keel, radikal, ulrika, ekos SE and akiva. But for now this setup does sound really good. I am actually surprised how good in fact. Yes it is a new top plate.
