    John, you are right. Since the Ortofon 2M is so tall on the P5, in order to get a better VTA, I have maxed out the VTF (within spec of course). I think this has brought the cart closer. I do have spacers for the arm, and I plan to install them soon.

    Yes! This work horse is from 1961. VM was the actual maker for these and some other brands too. This was my Pop's pride and joy. I can still hear "I Fall to Pieces" playing now.....
