Last night I spun my copy of Aretha Franklin's 'I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)' on the 4 Men With Beards label. I know a lot of us gave it praise ions ago but again I must say they did a very nice job. The emotional impact of the songs/performances came through very clearly (hit the spot last night/the heart). I strongly recommend this title...

I own it as well. an amazing title, definately first in line when seeking out 4-Beards stuff. Stereo mix employed here, as the recent Rhino CD is mono mix with a few hit tracks in stereo. Warts and all. Also highly recommended!

Been wanting to get the McCain "Swiss Movement" too.

This is the only one I have so far. I may pick up the other Aretha title and the Otis one...

P.S. What's the story about this label? Who are these 4 hairy guys (Is ZZ Top being productive on their downtime)?

Do they have a website? I'm familiar with several of their releases but I'd like to see what else they have to offer.
