Does anybody else own ProAc speakers around here? I have three pair: the Response Fives, Response Ones and Tablettes. I find the tone of these speakers fantastic and just wondered if there are any other kindred souls under their spell. My obvious point of view is you can't have too many different ProAc's. Plus the yew wood is to die for. I hope it's not some endangered wood or something. I guess I'm guilty of conspicuous consumption, but I can't help it. They just started mounting up around the house and I could never consider selling any of them. I moved the Tablettes to the office so I could always have a pair nearby. Nothing in the car, yet, but it's an interesting thought...
I once got a pair of the Tablettes as a temporary speaker replacement from my dealer while I was waiting for my (then) new Apogees. They reminded me of a smaller Monitor Audio speaker. Both of them were very fine sounding! I guess a 4 or 5 channel setup of smaller speakers like the Tablettes would sound great! Happy listening Thomas
