Grabbed this title earlier today. Stock US version I believe. One side GP the other DK inscribed. At any rate, both sides sound fantastic. Better than other copies I own. I find it odd about the inscriptions of two different engineers though. At the flea market earlier today...running low on fleas...lol. Found a minty ELP Trilogy. George Piros cut on Cotillion. Again, a nice improvement over others I own of that title.
Run out markings on SD 8283: Side one - ST-A 712139 A AT/GP Side two - ST-A 712140 D AT/DK PR As I mentioned, odd for me to see two different engineers, but maybe not odd to others more in the know. At any rate, this is now my A copy.
Now playing... Return To Forever - No Mystery Another fine album from Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White and Al DiMeola. Kind of funky on side 1. More proggy on side 2. This album actually won the Grammy in 1976 for Best Jazz Performance by a Group.
Just popped this in the CD player. Never heard it before, only read whichever scarce info I could. Sounding very good so far.
Probably my favorite Todd of all. I still have my original of that and came across it on cassette the other day. What a treasure.
Nosound - `A Sense Of Loss`....beautiful Italian melodic Prog and on nice quiet vinyl. It`s 3am and I`m waiting at home for the wife to call when her plane lands so I can go pick her up from the aerodrome.
OK, it's probably a stretch and won't happen, but I am trying to get one of those "album-by-album" things going for Angel'In Heavy Syrup. Is anyone here either 1. into them, or 2. sufficiently enticed by the above to give four albums they haven't heard a try? If the answer to either is "yes," here's the link: Angel'In Heavy Syrup
