Mutha Goose – I (US, Alpha Omega, 1973) There are more Beatles related threads on 1st two pages than copies of this in existence… A band from Indiana, they self-produced this on Alpha Omega label, presumably 50 copies were pressed, they gave away some to family and friends, then on a way from the gig their van got torpedoed and all remaining copies got destroyed in the fire… They never played again. Certainly entertaining and ambition album, but very short, more like EP. Not without sense of humor, they list instruments played - bulldozer, second fiddler, air raid siren, percussion, bass, lead vocals, screams, none of the above - on the right and members on the left with tangled lines in between. Mellotron is not listed, but some strings and flute on two tracks.
TPT have definitely moved into the the first division of progressive bands - at least for me. This blu-ray is chock full of stereo & 5.1 hi-res content. Three studio albums worth and a live show all for less than $20. The Pineapple Thief - Where We Stood
