The Beatles - "Hollywood Bowl" U.S. final Capitol acetate LP .. (1976) Released May, 1977 Mastering by Wally T .. 100% authentic.
This is a fun game, I try to collect promos of my favorite albums, let's gooooo. Since it's already been posted twice, I'll throw another Led Zepp IV on the fire. Not a Monarch unfortunately. Extra points for the creative cover artwork
Bob Dylan - "If Not For You" U.S. Columbia 10" one-sided acetate. Personally owned and used by Dylan for "New Morning" LP. Authentic.
Piggybacking on Slick Willie's comment about Giorgio's Led Zeppelin IV -- This one does does have the pressing plant, PR, on the label.
Promo but it doesn't have a white label. RL Sterling both sides and it smashes as everyone here knows. I actually couldn't find a Discogs entry for a US promo of this.
The Beatles - "Hollywood Bowl" U.S. Sterling Sound 12" acetate. Extremely rare and very early preliminary LP via Abkco dating back to mid 1976. Has completely different songs (6), sequencing, unheard Lennon chatter, etc.
Ha!! I was wondering how long it would take for the first acetate to show up!!! Makes me giggle! ......in a manly way....
There is a WLP of Candy-O that I just recently was made aware of it's existence. It's for Radio Station use only, the same as the other Candy-O WLP's, however the pressing I'm referring to has the words 'Intro' on side One, and 'Outro' on Side Two. I'm assuming the 'Intro' and 'Outro' are commentary by the band. I only saw a picture and description of it on Ebay recently. I did a search and it's no longer listed on Ebay.
The Beatles - "For Sale" U.K. EMI Test Pressing .. 2 x one-sided 12" discs. For c. 1982 U.K. box LP set. Rare and seldom seen.
