Hmm. There's absolutely nothing else online regarding these reissues, or that release date. I'd love to know if/when the US release is planned before I order from the UK.

Not a good sign, though some members here say Plain/4MWB have been cleaning up their act lately. Definitely something I would not pre-order, personally. I'm sure someone will eventually take a chance on them and give feedback about the quality. It's just not going to be me.

I'm a big fan and don't have £10,000 for original copies haha. I'm not really sure what'll be getting.

the Ween records on Plain are pretty good. Just a label with no consistency.

on Plain Recordings, YIKES. The Music On Vinyl version is fantastic. Too bad the artwork was reproduced so lazily...

I'm positive both of these have already been reissued (if not multiple times).

Nope - We Love Life has never had a vinyl reissue. And the 2001 original was pressed in low quantities.

Not THAT low actually because "We Love Life" could be easily obtained for years. It wasn't until 2012 that prices slowly started to rise.

hmm, then maybe what I've seen were original pressings, though I would agree that it definitely wasn't pressed in that limited a manner because I've seen numerous copies in recent years. my wife, who's a huge Pulp fan, debated buying one within the last 6 months or and ultimately opted to put it back - she doesn't particularly like the album.

A lot of people don't really like that album. That's why it doesn't always guarantee big bucks either. Only recently one copy sold for 24€.

yeah I believe the copy she and I looked at together was around $30 US, roughly the same as you said.

Original 'We Love Life' wasn't an especially quiet pressing either, which was a particular problem with a longer album on only one disc. Shame it looks like it'll be one disc again, but hopefully done right.

According to the ebay seller the 'Hardcore' reissue is through Universal? Plain Recordings said it was nothing to do with them, either.

Here in the U.K the are not that cheap, older pressings go for silly money.

Maybe it's because I'm in London.

Looks like 3 were sold. Still don't know what they are. I'll probably wait to see if they hit the shops at the end of the month.

Checked thE bay today, was surprised how expensive "Hardcore" had become. Even the Plain pressing fetches a bit of money. They definitely need to give this album a proper reissue.

I'll be heading to my local HMV store for opening time on 18th June then! I have no idea how popular this will be but guess will turn up a bit ahead of opening as I guess even Worthing has it's share of flippers.....
