A question for the Sinatra experts out there:
I notice the Mofi "Songs for Swingin' Lovers" has slightly different cover art than the current Capitol CD version. What's the deal with that? Which one is the original (presumably the Mofi?) and why are there two versions of the album cover?

I'm not an expert, but I believe the original cover was "Frank faces away from the couple," which was later changed to "Frank faces the couple." The MFSL follows the original cover.

I've heard a rumor that it was decided that the original cover (the one on the MoFi) didn't look enough like Frank, so they changed it. I don't know who decided this, and if it's really true though.

Seems very plausible. When I first saw that cover on the MFSL edition, I thought Frank looked more like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.
