Question about the new Beach Boys Classics CD

The tracks were picked by Brian Wilson. Whoopee! Is there anything at all that would make anyone want to buy this? Does anyone here have it? Any tracks in improved sound quality from the remastered HDCD twofers released a couple of years ago? I don't want to buy it if I can simply make my own at home. Any help would be appreciated.

 

The big "calling card" of this release is that it features a brand new recording of Brian doing the old Beach Boys unreleased, 70's era (often bootlegged) song "California Feelin'". The track lineup is also intended to present a more "Brian-centric" version of the band's history - delving deeper into the catalog than any greatest hits collection normally would.

 

Thank you Col. Klink! That is not enough for me to buy it. It had to have tracks taken from newly found tapes or something like that for me to be interested.
