    PS- i wore a tie w a short sleeve button up a couple times because of Sipowitz (and because it was hot)

    This is sad news.

    Hill Street was absolutely essential and unmissable viewing in the 80s - astonishing to think that it finished over 30 years ago now. And loved LA law too.

    Thanks for providing us with the two BEST (IMO) cop shows ever televised, Mr. Bochco! Furillo & Sipowicz were both great lead characters!
