Radio Birdman Box Set and Vinyl Reissues

I finally got the Birdman box set. I heard a lot of this material two or three years ago when Deniz Tek was mixing tracks. He previewed a couple of things on my radio show back then. The real treat is the Paddington Town Hall 1977 discs. This has been given a new mix from the multi tracks. Otherwise you get the original Trafalger version of Radios Appear and the Sire version. Each of these has a companion disc of demos, alternate versions and a couple of unreleased tracks. Living Eyes has the original mix and the modern remix plus more out takes.

The Paddington is available as a stand alone double vinyl set. Radios Appear (Trafalger edition) is out on vinyl too. The other will follow. I know they are moving slow as they had some trouble getting a good cut.

The recent Aussie tour went well enough that there is talk of another US tour. That would be nice. Den said they are sounding very good, more like the 70s band. This despite Mazauk getting un-invited.
