The rough mix of I wanna be sedated sounds good.

Always liked SLUG. I think a demo came out on the expanded Rocket To Russia before the 40th anniversary edition. Presumably the version here will be different. Nice to see these editions continue. I wonder how far they will get?

I`ve had this Pre FM Master boot for years of the `79 show.Whatever source it`s from,I really like the concert and I`m in for this official box.Hopefully it sounds decent.

You just know it is going to be a brick walled ear bleeding Rhino-phonic mess!

Someone had to post it.

Looking forward to this one. :pineapple:

Brickwalled? The Ramones. I would hope for some delicately separated instruments and a sparse and sensitive production.

Maybe they`ll put some of this on vinyl for Black Friday RSD.The Roxy`76 and Sundragon Sessions were more tolerable than the cds.Well the boot I have is mastered at the right volume and sounds good, but a little muddy.

I wonder what they will do with the Spector produced album. I also wonder if they got the master tapes back!

    Very excited!

I think that they are doing an amazing job with these deluxe releases.

I can't wait for this and for the rest of the catalogue to receive the same treatment.

For me, they cannot come out fast enough! :)

End of the Century should prove to be simply amazing.

Ed Stasium can perform his magic, a "Stasiumanized" version will be a real treat.

In the meantime, and back to the topic at hand, the countdown to 21 September is on!!!

  20. Did you mean this when referring to the pre fm boot? If so, this was officially released along with other KBFH shows. I have this one and sounds great. Glad to see it paired with the anniversary edition.

Well ed was one of the main engineers on the album. Odds are they will get him to remix it.

    No,The one I mean is from a year later 12/31/ 1979,called 1,2,3,4,Die.It has I Wanted Everything,I`m Against It,Bad Brain,Chinese Rock,Go Mental,and others.
As far as the official King Biscuit from`78,I might actually listen to that more often than It`s Alive.

I think it's a better show, hometown audience and all that.

Looks good and I am sure this new 40th will be very good. It is a nice series (I have the first 3) and at the rate they are being issued I hope they keep going. Certainly for End of the Century which I kind of dismissed at the time but have grown to really enjoy.
