Randy Rhoads Official App Out Now

For those into Randy Rhoads -- Ozzy Osbourne's first guitarist in his solo band -- there's a brand new app put together by my pal John Stix, founding editor of GUITAR FOR THE PRACTICING MUSICIAN, and it's pretty spectacular. It's called GUITAR CHAT -- RANDY RHOADS and it contains lots of audio from Randy, his peers and his family (who authorized this project) and covers his entire life up to his early demise in the early '80s while on tour with Ozzy. I've never seen most of the photos there, either, and the the pics of a young Randy are a trip. The app is available in the iTunes Store and costs $7.99. There's a generous sample available there, as well. If you think you've seen and read everything there is regarding Randy Rhoads, you haven't seen anything until you've checked this app out.
