Re-using old tech for new system

    Decided to use some old tech that was laying around to create a new compact low power system. Plugged an old Galaxy Note 1 into the Samsung docker with audio out and plumbed that into the Fiio amp. Stripped off any apps, SIM and services it doesn't need as far as possible, other than Spotify. Spotify is then set to extreme settings.

    Works very nicely.

    I really like the idea as it's useful to have a 'mini' system elsewhere in the house (or mobile home).
