  3. Man, I hate RSD! Especially the (lousy releases/overwhelming number of releases/number of crap, unnecessary reissues/flippers/high prices/poor fills my local store got)!

Why is that a problem? You don't have to buy it.
If you are not interested, why bother to click on this thread?

An authentic replica of the "That'll Be the Day"/"In Spite of All the Danger" 78 would be pretty cool for next year (60th anniversary and all).

Part of the list can be viewed on this distributor's website. Put "2017rsd" in the TITLE search box.

    F.A.B. Distribution

So far nothing of interest to me, phew.

The very first record on that list sums up RSD in a nutshell!

marmil It's such a long story...

A Corey Feldman record - a dream come true!!! (Tho a pic disc of The MC5 I Can Only Give You Everything might be nice).

Keep in mind that these guys are Canadian distributors and they won't necessarily list all the titles that are going to be available to the US, the UK and even in Canada.

I've had a look at their list a few years running and sometimes they didn't have stuff that another Canadian distributor did have.

I bet if we had access to a US distributors list it would be longer than this right now.

The moment when you're trying to be funny and inadvertently discover there is true pent-up demand for this.
(Hell, I'd buy it for the right price! Best official Bruce live release on the market IMHO.)

  17. As I said in another thread: I'm game for the Gun Club and Crushed Butler LPs. And Corey Feldman's single, of course. Way too many pic discs in there though, but I guess they maybe bring in the teens and completists. And those looking for wall art for their man caves.

I'm in for the Beny More, though a retrospective with (probably) hit or miss sound quality is less desirable than a top quality reissue of any one of his lp's. The RCA's were so well recorded!

I would bet that the Flaming Lips put out the Soft Bulletin show they did last Summer at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony.

Could be possibly have a RSD info thread and a RSD moaning/complaining/stale, obvious joke thread? I mean we have seperate contents/shipping threads sometimes. Just seems like this is a topic that many people want information, but many others simply want to moan.

So skip what could be an informative thread because of dumb comments that add nothing? How about skip the complaints?

Having a Record Store Day is better than NOT having a Record Store Day.

Corey's "Today Show" performance last fall was the most mesmerizing event in pop music this past year. I was at a loss for words, and still am.
