Rega Planar 3 (2016) Owners..experience with XPS?

Can any Rega Planar 3 (2016) owners give you their direct experience on the performance
with and without the external power supply, now currently known as the "Neo turntable PSU"

I'll let you know in a few days - just started using a Planar 3/Elys 2 and am picking up the Neo next week. Actually the Neo is for my 2011 RP6 (downstairs) and I'll be transferring its TTPSU to the 3, but I may try out the Neo on that as well. What I can tell you is a) the Neo was way better than the TTPSU on the RP6, in terms of information retrieval, when I tried the shop unit, and that the new 3 without an external box is incredibly good too.

 

Thank you that would be greatly appreciated. I just got a Planar 3 a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with the performance
considering the price. I am not a tinkerer and the ease of set up and elegant look are huge pluses.

The XPS is not a insignificant purchase, costing about 1/4 of the price of the table and cartridge, so feedback welcomed!
