A talent, truly a great guitarist and an accomplished writer. His work with Bob Ezrin and Alice Cooper puts him in the history books, though he had a storied career with highlights before and after, some documented, many uncredited, as you all know. A remarkable musical life.

Man I loved him when he toured with Alice Cooper during the Welcome to my Nightmare tour! He was a freaking awesome talent!

A great guitarist who played on some of my favourite albums. We've lost so many this year - a tough time for music fans. RIP Dick and sending best thoughts to his family and friends.

train kept a-rollin' is my favourite aerosmith song, and get your wings my favourite album of theirs.
i love all the song but my favourite parts are the guitar solos.
i read about hunter & wagner playing on the album a year or so ago. kind of surprised me at first, what with the band having two guitarists of their own.
saw lou reed on the rock n roll animal tour when he came to nz. the only reason i went was to hear the intro, as i never like reed himself.
back then concert tickets were cheap!

Damn...one of my all time favorite guitarists ever. I've been enthralled by his work since way back when I was a kid. I didn't even know who it was I was listening to until just a few years ago.

    RIP Mr. Wagner
you truly made my life a better place.

Steve Hunter did the solo at the end of "Generation Landslide," one of my favorites.

Absolutely. Growing with the Detroit music scene, Dick Wagner has always been a local hero. Fortunately, I still have both my Frost LP's. I am grateful that I was able to attend the benefit show this past March for Gary Grimshaw that featured the guitar army of both Dick Wagner & local gunslinger Ray Goodman. Some mighty fine playing that night.

    RIP Maestro.

Playing his self titled solo album now and enjoying it. I think I'm going to play all the Frost albums in order next. He was one of the greats:cheers:
