Ron Salsbury, and his group J.C. Power Outlet, were among the very first bands to be signed to Myrrh Records in 1972, and opened the door for bands such as Petra to follow suit. In the late 70s, Salsbury and former JCPO partner John Pantano released "Hit The Switch" on Larry Norman's "Solid Rock" label. In recent years, Ron Salsbury served as senior pastor of New Life Community Church in Pismo Beach, CA.

Pastor Ron had fought a valiant 10-year fight against lymphoma, but finally succumbed to complications of the disease at home Sunday morning surrounded by family. Our prayers go out to his family. Thank you, Ron Salsbury, for a life well lived!
