I'm guessing that most of you guys are familiar with these couples. Both popularized the "will they/won't they" angle on TV sitcom. Which one do you prefer? And also I'm talking about which couple entertained you the most?

I voted for Cheers, which would occasionally make me laugh. I don't think I ever laughed watching Friends.

Fan more of Cheers, but actually I found both of these relationships annoying.

Sam and Diane - they had such different personalities which made their pairing more interesting and entertaining.

I find nearly everything about the show Friends annoying. Not a fan. Sam & Diane all the way.

Never watched Friends very much. I just don't like Schwimmer, Perry was ok in short doses, and the stupid guy wore on me quickly. Cheers was great , and usually cracked me up at least once an episode. I vote Sam and Rachel. The Diane character grew to be annoying, and she left about right on time. Alley grew on me a little bit , as the series went on. First few seasons of Cheers were really good.

Sam and Diane. Confused by a post that had 2 guys , thought this was just about Sam and Diane or Ross and Rachel.

Wish there was a "neither" option.

Same here. I never warmed up to Cheers, and the Ross/Rachel on-again-off-again story line got tiresome quickly. I'd vote for Miss Fine and Mr. Sheffield over either of these choices for a dragged out "will they ever be together" story line, or Dorothy & Stan Zbornak for the "why are they still associating with each other" story line.
