We're moving from Oklahoma to Ellensburg, Washington. Anybody know of any good shops in the area?

    Thanks!

    Shalom, y'all!

There's a big annual rodeo in the fall, sometime around the time of the Pendleton Round-Up. Let 'er Buck!

Yakima peaches and nectarines are great, along with this restaurant.

I was raised in Oklahoma, lived in Texas for a spell, am moving far north, and still somehow am landing in a town where the rodeo is a big deal... :)

    Thanks!

This thread likely belongs in the Marketplace forum (Music, Movie and Hardware Store Guide sub-forum).

    Good luck!

Your best bet is just make the trek over Snoqualmie Pass and go to Seattle. It's not that far.

There are none in Ellensburg. I live in Washington state and know of all the cds shops around here. Silver Platters is the most well known, but Everyday Records is also well established here. However, both are in Seattle. It will take you a drive over Snoqualmie Pass to get there.

Just for the record in case anybody searches for this thread in the future, Ellensburg does have one used record/CD shop, Old Skool's (308 N Main St), that has been running since well before I arrived.

A trip to Ellensburg may be merited. Always enjoy the dry heat there.

I'll warn you, though, that it isn't the best shop around, and the owners are far too proud of their merchandise. Still, I've picked up some nice platters...

Believe it or not, it is raining today. I miss the rain... (That's one of the reasons I spend so many weekends in your beautiful city.)

    Shalom, y'all!
