Shania Twain vs. Amy Grant poll thread

Surely, I'm not the only one that thinks pictures would add value to this thread.

 

I think Amy has aged a lot better.

Well… I'm just saying that between the two, Amy's aging better (to my eyes).

Okay, I'll admit Shania actually looks better in that picture than I remember seeing her about a year ago.

Of course you can find flattering and not so flattering pictures out there of everyone.

 

I hate both equally. No I hate Shania Twain more because more of her crap was rammed down our throats for a long while.
Here, Amy Grant was a one hit wonder.

 

While here in the US, Amy had many hits in the Christian world and in the secular world.

Well, they both appeal to relatively specific audiences…

Beyond that? Um… I don't know, either.

 

Considering Shania has albums that have, respectively, gone 12, 20, and 11 times platinum I'd say her audience isn't all that specific.

 

Amy's biggest selling album is Heart In Motion which sold over 5 million copies in the day and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

 

Only heard "Baby Baby" and "Every Heartbeat" by Amy Grant but like them both. Shania? Not keen on her music at all but she is gorgeous, jaw droppingly gorgeous!

 

Y'know, I don't think I've ever knowingly heard anything by Amy Grant, but, on the grounds that she couldn't possibly have ever recorded anything as rip-your-own-ears-off awful as 'Man, I Feel Like a Woman', or 'That Don't Impress Me Much', I'm voting for Amy.

 

Amy turned me off by leaving love notes in Vince's golf bag for his wife to find.

Just curious as to why his wife would even look in his golf bag. I'm quite sure I couldn't stash most anything in mine.

I don't have any music from either of them in my collection, but I voted for Shania simply because her songs are catchy and I know dozens of them. The only song I've ever heard by Amy Grant is "Baby Baby".
