    Continued from last post........

My daily driver, which I love, although common:

Modest, but very functional: Turntable, CD Player, Cassette Deck, and an 8-Track Deck:

    A couple of spares:

That's it. This where the best hours of my day are spent, loving my music, and my vinyl in particular.

I love the space you allow on the shelves. Very envious!

It is a beautiful room. Looks very contemporary but your 70's roots are obvious. 8 tracks and lava lamps.

I just finished the work on my 2x4 Kallax unit.
I placed my tt on the top shelf (kept the center divider out). However, the dustcover would not stay up.

Thank you. I bought it about 20 years ago. I've never seen another like it.

How many copies of Zep II do you have? Three or four?

Why is so difficult to post a picture on here, I never had such a problem with posting pictures or video on any other site expect here.

Astute observation; thank-you. I grew up with vinyl, 8-tracks, and cassettes, and I never discard my past or the things that have given me pleasure. I listen to all of my media, including my 8-tracks. Love it all and it keeps me connected with my musical past.

My collection, started around 1994, built very slowly until around 2004 when it became my main hobby:

    http://www.discogs.com/user/Bootbox/collection

My setup below - Polk SDAII speakers, Pioneer PL-630 turntable on the left and PL-550 turntable on the right, restored Pioneer SA-9500 amplifier and CT-F650 tape deck in the center, DIY modified tube phono pre and cartridge collection on top of the tape deck.

You can just barely make out the 4 x 1 cube to the left of camera in this picture housing all of my jazz records (with Music Matters 33 series Sidewinder sitting on it).

  19. Now that's a really nice vintage setup! I have a Pioneer SA-9500II integrated (actually my second one as the first one was stolen) and I've always liked that unit. A good buddy of mine just recently picked up a pair of the Polk SDAII's and he raves about them. If I'm ever in Texas I'd love to drop by and have a listen!:)

    Well done Sir!:righton:

I hear you. I never had 8 tracks but still have all my vinyl, cassettes, and CD's (that I did not lose). Also still have beta and vhs players.

But of course. Two of the lamps are 1970's originals. The black one is a 15 year old repro. Enjoy:
