    They weren't so much obscure in Australia, but I would think they are everywhere else.

    I love Bronco and have had their albums for 40 years or so - they are the opposite of slick , Jess Roden's solo albums, however, move a little closer in this direction

    They totally qualify as one of those many slick rock bands that disappeared once punk/new wave swept them all away forever.

    John Mellancamp was part of it all when he was calling himself John Cougar.
    He didn't make a dent in Britain. I don't know at what point he started getting good sales in the US.

    Very well known here in Oz but nowhere else i think, fantastic song, the only one of his i like.

    This band had a minor hit with this song. The singer sounds so much like Noddy Holder from Slade.
