Small Faces box set

This box set looks as though it could be a MAJOR disappointment.

 

Why?!

 

I'll tell you when it's released and how many of the tracks I've already got.

 

A bit more info on the songs etc would be most people will want to know,especially if that quote on the price is right.

 

I would love to know the content given the suggested price for the UK. or if I have to tap up some friends based overseas for an import !!!

Darlings has 16 of Autumn Stone's 22 tracks. It's missing:

• All or Nothing
• Sha-La-La-La-Lee
• If I Were A Carpenter
• My Mind's Eye
• Hey Girl
• Wide-Eyed Girl On The Wall
• Whatcha Gonna Do About It

I think you've got most (if not all) of those across the discs you mentioned having.

The package includes 4 CDs worth of rarities, out takes and the whole official Immediate catalogue as you've never heard these recordings before. Re-mastered and mixed beautifully from the original master tapes these also include lots of "work in progress" tracks complete with the band discussing what they're doing. Also a very large, glossy book covering the bands career and more including lots of rare pics. A re-pressed Olympic acetate "Mystery", An Immediate Records sampler on red vinyl, 2 replica French EPs on coloured vinyl and signed by Mac and Kenny.

So, let me get this right. The box contains the whole official Immediate catalog "as you've never heard these recordings before."
Isn't that how they described the remastered catalog that came out last year? Or is this that, turned up to eleven?

I must say this is really confusing.
There are no pre-orders yet except the UK one and it should be out in october??
And what's the price? 129 UK pounds but for the webstores!
I also searched the official sites and no pre/order information there!
I live in the Netherlands and was hoping to order with Amazon.

A poster on IMWAN said he contacted Charly Records UK, and they said the box would be out early December...

 

I want all those extras! I held off on the deluxe editions because I had a feeling those bonus things would be in the box. Besides you guys know I love all the swag. That's why I bought those Pink Floyd Immersion sets.

 

Supposedly coming any day now, about time like......

 

The box set isn't being released in the UK. so the pre-order is from a fan web-site who have an agreement for a limited number of sets. The set is out in December I think.

All that would be nice now is an Amazon pre-order.

 

Can see this set been pulled ... hope not.

 

It's still 4 cds but it's a little strange how they described it. No tracklist for now. It's still a steep price (UK 125) for the box. That's 149 euro and 199 US dollars !!

 

Postcards! Fine art prints! Rare memorabilia! Red, white and blue 7 inch vinyl! Signed certificates!
Certainly essentials to the listening experience.
