Hey, not fair...I had 24 karat hits and Aqualung on order and just got a note that they were unavailable and would be cancelled. On the otherhand, they did say my DCC of Heart's Dreamboat Annie for $22.99 was in process and would ship soon. I guess we'll see.....

 

Maybe the suppliers are all getting rid of their stocks of that old crappy DCC Elvis CD now that the new "improved" Elvis 30 No.1 Hits is on the way

(Words spoken in jest but it could well come true, including on ebay)

 

I think the "DCC 24 Karat Hits" will always fetch a high price. It is pure GOLD!

 

I just got a note with the same sad news just 2 days ago...

 

Wouldn't it be tragic if they accidentally clicked on the wrong "form" email!!

Got the same note on my Elvis and Roy the other day from them.

 

I got the bad news also on Friday.

I got the same note.
At the bottom it said total $26.99, instead of the 3 they were going to ship.
My guess is that they aren't DCC.

 

Well I've got good news and bad news. I just talked to a MediaPlay rep and it turns out the Elvis DCC DID ship, but the other four are out of stock and the order was cancelled. They screwed up the original email to me. Sigh....still, the Elvis WAS the one I was after the most, so happy day!

Well, my 24 Karat Hits arrived today from Mediaplay! There is a supreme being! Can't wait to play it....

After feeling a little let down when they cancelled all the other DCC's I had on order, I went to Amoeba Records here in LA to drown my sorrows, and promptly found the Steve Miller Hits DCC used for $19, and in a fit of unadulterated impulse buying, the UD2 of Dark Side of the Moon for $50.

I got home from that trip to find I had won the bidding on eBay for the DCC Endless Summer, $51. So, my list get a lot shorter and I don't feel I've taken too much of a hit to do it!!

Now if I could just find that Innervisions MFSL and Aqualung DCC my life's mission will be complete
