Basically a list of songs that you feel are too short and wish would go on for a couple more minutes at least.

(Did a search for: Too Short, found nothing. My apologies if this thread has been done before)

The Small Faces - Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake

Only 2:28, I really feel just as it's about to go somewhere.... It fades out.

Bob Seger's first hit, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man. Clocks in at only 2:21.

    Deerhunter - The Missing

Feels like it's about to go on a Nothing Ever Happened/Desire Lines-esque dreamy guitar freakout, and then just suddenly ends.

    Roxy Music’s “She Sells” (3:35)

At about 2:20 it switches to my favorite section (Nine till five...) and then, by 2:41, we’re in the concluding part (Oh why, she sells, I need) which repeats for almost a minute. That 20-second section definitely could have used some fleshing out, IMO...

    “The Letter”
    by the Box Tops
...is a song that ends way too early; under 2 minutes.

Whenever I hear it, I usually start to think,
Wow, is this 16 year old voice really the same one on a lot of those Big Star songs....?

Prince, “Gotta Broken Heart Again” from Dirty Mind.

But it’s brevity is also exactly what makes the song so tremendous!

It feels like the song is begging for an extended outro instead of the short one it has. An extra verse or two wouldn’t hurt either.

When I first purchased Ozzy's Blizzard Of Oz, I would crank the ending of "Mr. Crowley," trying to squeeze out every last note of that guitar solo! I wish it went on a bar or two longer.

Circa - Keeper of the Flame

At least if they wanted to keep it so short, it would probably work better as the album opener, not just some random tune in the middle.

Capers, the last track on 'Oora', by The Edgar Broughton Band. Fade in, fade out, 1' 38" in total. I'd love to hear the full uncut tape.

Led Zeppelin - Over the Hills and Far Away

I'm not a Zeppelin fan, let's get that out of the way, but I love the acoustic intro to Hills but as soon as the electric guitar kicks in they lose me. Outside of the intro the song goes nowhere for me, built around a few power chords but there isn't much of a song there at all. The song comes to a dead stop after the intro and that part ends much too soon.

The Beach Boys' "Meant For You". It's a beginning and an end with no middle.
