Barry & The Bookbinders satirized Aerosmith's hit as "Fart in an Elevator," featured on Dr. Demento’s syndicated radio show throughout the 1990s.

  6. Oasis have a habit of putting various bodily functions into their songs, usually at the start (Let There Be Love) or end (Magic Pie).

However, the best example I can think of has to be Who's That by Electric Light Orchestra - a 1982 studio rehearsal piece consisting of Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy playing around with mostly sampled farts, "completed" for the Flashback compilation in 2000.

Seriously an odd question to see posted here. I can't believe there are SO many examples of this.

This has me cracking up. If that's true, that's even so much better. I'll never hear that mysterious bit the same way again.

    Costes - Lung Farts
I had this CD back in the 1990's but it disappeared from my collection. I'm not sure about burps but the CD probably has more farts and fart references than anything listed so far.

You hear both belching and farting on the intro to "Music From The Body" by Ron Geesin and Roger Waters.

Bonzo Dog Band—In The Canyons of Your Mind. The end of the song features Vivian Stanshall's most majestic belch.

It sounds to me like there are "hand farts" throughout Bossa Nova Baby
    by Elvis. Do these count??

"Scream Thy Last Scream" has a belch at the beginning of the organ break.

If that counts, you would have to count most of Weird Al's early output!

  19. Sounds that don't quite qualify:

Joe Walsh - All Night Laundry Mat Blues

The Who - They Are All in Love
("Where do you fit in *pffffftttt* magazine?")

  20. The Golden Palominos-The Animal Speaks--nice loud one courtesy of John Lydon.

  21. Stairway to Heaven - John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page both fart and belch multiple times during the outtro. However, through copious use of compression, distortion, and EQ, those bodily noises are made to sound like bass and guitar. Throughout the song, John Bonham farts the bass drum part and belches the snare and it sounds like a pretty convincing facsimile of a normal drum set. You can only tell that the performance was not played on traditional drums by listening to the original vinyl. The Page/Marino remasters, in particular, have had NoNoise applied that eliminated the sound of the "wind," making the fart echoes and burp reverb sound more like room noise from a regular kit.

I know that a few of the LP's by Derek and Clive (aka Peter Cook and Dudley Moore) have a few ditties with various bodily functions (and plentiful expletives) in evidence!
